What we check before a clinic can list
Every clinic on Ovello has given us, and we have verified, the following:

We confirm each document is genuine with the organisation that issued it, and we check the clinic and its practitioners against public registers, regulatory records, court records and press. These checks are carried out with independent lawyers in the clinic's country. Verification takes up to three business days once we have everything we need.
What happens after listing
Every document has an expiry date recorded on our system, and we remind you before it is due. If a document expires, the clinic's listing is suspended until a current document is provided and verified. If we receive a credible report of a serious safety incident, a regulatory finding or a misrepresentation, we suspend the listing while we investigate, and we remove clinics that fail.
What verification does not mean
Verification confirms that a clinic's documents were genuine and current when we checked them. It does not guarantee the quality, safety or result of any procedure, and it is not a recommendation that a clinic or surgeon is right for a particular patient. Clinics on Ovello must not describe verification as an endorsement or accreditation by Ovello.
The Ovello Trust Score
The Trust Score shown on each listing combines verified patient reviews (only patients who booked through Ovello can leave one), the clinic's verification status and document currency, and how quickly the clinic responds to enquiries. It does not use any patient's medical information, and it never hides a verified clinic from patients.
